Job Summary:
The HVAC Building Services Business Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects related to our Building Services business. Will be responsible for collaboration in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Job Summary:
The HVAC Building Services Business Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects related to our Building Services business. Will be responsible for collaboration in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze monthly financial data, trends, and performance to provide insights and recommendations to the Vice President of Building Services along with Branch and Service Managers and their corresponding teams.
- Work in conjunction with our Business Office and Service Accounting team to provide expertise and support including but not limited to:
- Financial-related questions throughout the month and during the month end process.
- High risk account identification due to outstanding invoice balances.
- Monthly project status review process.
- Annual burden rate review.
- Conduct monthly AR meetings and follow-up with Branch and Service Managers when necessary.
- Periodically review material and consumable pricing structure to assure proper alignment with current market trends and costs.
- Provide recommendations on annual budget information including but not limited to individual overhead account analysis and revenue forecasting for each component within the Building Services business.
- Lead annual labor rate update process with each Building Services Branch/Service Manager.
- Provide suggestions with supporting data to optimize Building Services financial resources for efficiency and growth.
- Assist the Building Services team in developing financial strategies and providing financial analysis to support the company's future growth opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, technical skills & attributes required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree and/or CPA a plus).
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within the HVAC or construction industry.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent team cooperation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of HVAC industry financial dynamics is a plus.
