Under general supervision, the On-Site Stores Manager manages key supply functions that include but are not limited to inventory control, RFID Portal management, replenishment strategy and monitoring of product data.  The position will require you to work on-site for a large customer in Concord, Ontario.
  • Onsite lead for stores improvements
  • Identifies, evaluates and develops customer inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system.
  • Identifies and disposes of obsolete and non-moving inventory
  • Resolves unacceptable situations with customers, as well as problems between shipping locations, carriers, receiving departments, inventory analysts, and buyers to ensure planned arrival of product.
  • Ensures availability of product through the monitoring and oversight of inventory systems.
  • Identifies and corrects root causes of inventory discrepancies at Distribution Centers, reviews underlying processes and information that may lead to discrepancies and recommends/implements appropriate changes.
  • Acts as liaison between customer, sales, customer service and carriers.
  • Advises on trends and/or shifts in demand that could affect company's service levels.
  • Provides oversight of the RFID portal
  • Receives, tags and puts away product
  • Manage min/max’s and adjust as required
  • Manage database and additions to stock
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Assist with OEM conversion initiative
  • Lead initiative to right size customers inventory
  • Follow all MOTION/Client ISO and safety requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work cross functionally and with personnel at all levels.
  • General knowledge of industrial products and supply chain systems.
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Good communication skills required

  • Typically requires a high school diploma and four (4) or more years of relevant experience.
