Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Pub Master is responsible for preparing and serving a comprehensive Pub menu. The Pub Master provides a positive Pub environment that is warm and inviting, ensuring all Guests who enter the Pub will leave with an EPIC experience. 

 

How you will help people every day:

  • Maintains cleanliness of the Pub and equipment used
  • Prepares Pub beverages according to recipe. 
  • Adheres to the cleaning processes and routines to ensure quality and product standards are maintained. 
  • Provides a clean and sanitary Pub environment, including washing dishes, disposing of garbage properly, sweeping and mopping the floor, and completing all daily cleaning assignments. 
  • Assists in setting up and serving the main portion of the meal by dispensing the proper items in the proper amounts as stated in the residents’ meal/diet card. 
  • Follows the instruction of daily menus, special diets and prepares them properly in a timely manner and assists with special requests by staff for residents. 
  • Receives and responds to resident/family concerns and fills out the appropriate paperwork required to ensure that concerns are handled. 

You will earn:

We can work with your scheduling needs:
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Part Time or Full Time positions available
  • Shift Schedule 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent. 
  • At least 1+ year of hospitality / Mixology /Pub type food production experience preferred. 
  • ServSafe and Allergen Trained
  • Computer proficiency is required. 
  • Starbucks Barista trained is preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly to the environment and be flexible with all staff and customers.   
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, and be customer service driven, demonstrating courteousness, a positive attitude, and a desire to serve an ageing population. 
  • Must be able to stand, lift (up to 60 pounds unassisted), bend, stoop, push, pull, and twist.
