This position is responsible for providing assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. Main responsibility being in charge of capturing meal orders for our residents and guests. Our patients and guests look forward to their meals every day and we look forward to providing them with great food that invokes happiness and joy. 

How you will help people every day:

  • Greeting of guests to the building, providing explanation of our menu, and ordering process for our daily specials as well as our Always Available Menu.
  • Meeting and talking with guests on a daily basis and taking meal orders.
  • Acquiring resident and guest preferences and collaborating with the RDN or Exec Chef on input in the Nutrition Management program.
  • Printing of meal production sheet for each meal and meal tickets.
  • Updating of the daily menu for the dining rooms.
  • Assist with the serving of meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance, and prepare and serve food and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures, sanitary regulations, and established policies and procedures.


You will earn:  $16.00 per hour to start!

  • Starting wages $15.15 per hour
  • PLUS $0.85 Hero Pay!

We can work with your scheduling needs:
  • Part Time position, includes rotating weekends & some holidays!
  • Rotating weekends are required.


What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:
  • ServSafe and Allergen Trained
  • Starbucks Barista trained.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide Bistro services.
  • Must be knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.
