The Assistant Maintenance Director is responsible for working closely with the Maintenance Director in managing and assisting with the completion of day-to-day activities involving all aspects of facility maintenance, equipment and machinery, including HVAC, lighting systems, grounds keeping and overall facility appearance.

Assistant Maintenance Director Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of related facility maintenance experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
Assistant Maintenance Director Description:
  • Assist with planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications and equipment repairs
  • Arrange for and manage appropriate third-party contractor support, including requesting and reviewing cost estimates
  • Oversee and carry out preventive maintenance of the facility, including HVAC and other facility equipment
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Director to ensure facility compliance with annual State survey requirements for the building and grounds
