Housekeeper – Camp Navarro
Camp Navarro is seeking Housekeepers to join our team for 2024. Reporting to the Lead Housekeeper, the Housekeeper is responsible for contributing to an attractive and clean property in accordance with the standards of Camp Navarro by cleaning lodging and public spaces, including but not limited to bathrooms, floors, hallways, and service areas.
 

General Requirements

The ideal candidate is experienced in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces and processing laundry. This candidate is personable and represents Camp Navarro well with guests, staff and vendors, has a passion for nature and environmental stewardship.

Requirements:

Education:  High school graduate or equivalent  

Experience:  Previous housekeeping experience required or equivalent training preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to speak and understand the primary language used by the guests who visits the hotel.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand and effectively implement written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to work with a variety of departments to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Ability to quickly problem solve and make sensible decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and recognition by others as a respected member of the team.
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail, a high level or organization, and the ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines on multiple projects.
  • Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time and complies with all Camp Navarro standards.
  • Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.
 

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation
  • Pushing/Pulling: Average weight 30lbs constantly
  • Lifting/Carrying: Average weight 30lbs constantly 
  • Standing/Walking: Constantly. Standing/walking the majority of scheduled shift
  • Kneeling/Crawling: Constantly.  Completing tasks throughout the property
  • Reaching: Constantly
