JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern will assist Navatek in our research to support the Navy, Marine Corps, and other services. This position investigates new science and technology and also assists in the engineering of mechanical systems including hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and structural. This position will report directly to the Director of the CFD Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Investigate new science and technology
- Engineering of mechanical systems
- 3d printing and hands-on building prototypes of mechanical designs
- Supporting testing of mechanical systems, sometimes offshore on maritime vessels of all sizes
- Assisting with the purchasing of materials, finding vendors and preparing purchase orders
- Assist in report writing and presentations
- Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- 2+ Years of College
REQUIREMENTS
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
