JOB SUMMARY/DESCRIPTION:
Navatek LLC is looking for a full-time employee who will be responsible for helping to maintain the timeliness of the financial records of the Company.  This person must be extremely detailed and will ensure the accuracy of the general ledger accounts.  The position will report to the Assistant Controller and will be a key member of the Finance team.
     
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Preparation of Billings for Work Performed
  • Recording of Cash Receipts for Payments Received
  • Reconciliation of various accounts.
  • Assistance with month-end and year-end closing entries
  • Assistance with financial statement preparation and review
  • Assistance with year-end audit schedules
  • Oversight of Accounts Payable Accountant
  • Assist with special projects as needed

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA designation preferred and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Having job costing experience, a plus
  • Having Sage Timberline software experience, a plus
  • Capable of working and communicating with internal employees and outside vendors
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize assignments

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality



This position will be located in Honolulu, HI. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing an employee background check and post-offer drug screen.
