The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will collaborate with senior leadership to execute marketing, corporate communications, brand strategy, media, and public relations efforts of the organization. This position will play a critical role in the growth of the company by telling our story in a way that resonates with valued partners and key stakeholders.

This opportunity is based in our Honolulu, HI corporate office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Develop a formal marketing and communications program to ensure activities align with strategic goals, business objectives, and the vision established by senior leadership.
  • Create content that reflects Navatek’s brand identity and reinforces the organizational values of the company.
  • Manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, press releases, scripts, social media pages, and company website.
  • Develop and support congressional relationships.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to produce effective promotional materials.
  • Manage company social media accounts and website, ensuring that new and consistent information (article links, stories, and events) is posted regularly.
  • Develop and manage marketing and communications budget.
  • Provide coordination for support and event management as needed.
  • Monitor market changes and adjust marketing strategies accordingly in order to remain competitive.
  • Coordinating with and managing agency partners.
  • Creating marketing presentations for stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop sustainable business relationships with vendors and other external partners.
  • Support Navatek’s business objectives, strategic goals, and organizational values.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • A bachelor's degree is needed for this position, along with several years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing, advertising, corporate communications, digital media, or other related activities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role.
  • Highly collaborative style with experience in developing and implementing communications strategies.
  • A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently.
  • Relationship builder with the flexibility and finesse to "manage by influence".
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • The ability to develop ideas and concepts through to realization.
  • Prior experience in leading campaigns and analyzing marketing data.
  • Prior experience developing website content highly desirable.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while working strongly with others in a team.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, meet deadlines for deliverables, and think like an entrepreneur.

This position will be located in Honolulu, HI. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing an employee background check and post-offer drug screen.
