As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and performers at various high-profile events. Responsibilities:
As a Special Event Security Guard, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a visible security presence at event venues, ensuring the safety and security of all attendees, staff, and performers
- Monitoring entrances and exits and controlling access to restricted areas.
- Conducting thorough security screenings of attendees and their belongings to prevent prohibited items from entering event premises.
- Responding to and resolving any security-related incidents or emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with fellow security staff, event organizers, and law enforcement agencies to coordinate security efforts and minimize risks.
- Preparing written reports on any security incidents, violations, or suspicious activities
- Adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid security guard license or certification in the applicable state or jurisdiction
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement, preferably within the special events or entertainment industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Physical stamina and fitness, as the job may require standing, walking, and responding to emergencies for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holiday, as needed.
