NTA, Inc. is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Engineer with an interest in Position, Navigation, and Timing to support research, development, and engineering activities of U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Programs at the Combat Capabilities Development Command Center (CCDC AvMC) on Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include providing support to existing and evolving tactical weapon systems and munitions; planning and coordinating customer inputs to development efforts, analysis and programmatic review, test and evaluation events; preparing and presenting briefings, plans, and reports.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution, Master's Degree or PhD preferred
Required:
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with modern navigation techniques (Kalman Filter) and input/sensors (IMU, GPS, and others)
- Knowledge of Army Aviation and Missile platforms and the technical challenges regarding Assured PNT
- Ability to create technical documentation and system-level performance into practical (hardware and software) programmatic needs and enabling system integration of prototype equipment
- Experience translating technical requirements and issues into system integration guidelines and standards
- Experience with modern programming tools and languages (C++, Python, or MATLAB)
- Willingness to travel (< 10% time)
Desired:
- Hands on experience with U.S. Army Aviation, Missile and Artillery platforms, Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE), anti-jam, and alternative PNT technology
- Detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities
- Effective communication skills for a group and presentation setting
- Familiar with GPS concepts including M-Code, P(Y), and C/A
