NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC machinist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in precision machining. Functions will include analyzing and interpreting prototype designs and drawings; estimating tooling and fabrication time and cost; programming and operating 3,4, and 5 axis CNC mills, vertical and horizontal; programming and operating CNC lathes; full part inspection; maintaining shop capabilities and tooling; and a general focus on tight tolerance complex aerospace parts.

NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC machinist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in precision machining. Education and Experience:
- 10 or more years of CNC machining experience
- High school diploma required; Associate’s degree in Precision Machining and CNC Technology preferred
- Ability to program, set up, and independently operate CNC mills and lathes
- A strong understanding of a horizontal mill work environment and strategies
- Experience with tight tolerances and complicated part setup
- A strong understanding of the HAAS and Makino machine interface
- Ability to program and run 4th axis and 5th axis mill parts
- Ability to read/interpret specifications on drawings, blueprints, and sketches
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Knowledge and experience with part inspection and Quality Assurance Standards
- Associate’s degree in Precision Machining and CNC Technology
- Programming experience with Mastercam software
- Experience quoting and cost estimating including fabrication run times
- Experience with troubleshooting and solving problems with tooling
- Working Knowledge of ISO standards
- Organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities
