NTA, Inc. is seeking a skilled, experienced Firmware Engineer to support research, development, and engineering activities at Redstone Arsenal. Duties will include the design, development, and testing of FPGA firmware. These firmware designs will support the development, integration, and testing of guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems for U.S. Army weapon systems. As a senior engineer, you will be given the freedom to design creative solutions to complex technical problems. This position supports the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in the areas of missile and aviation system research and development.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 10 + years of experience in a relevant field
Required:
- Experience with VHDL
- Experience with Xilinx FPGAs, SoCs, and development tools
- Independent and self-motivated, problem solver, strategic thinker
- High level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Desired:
- Experience with formal Firmware development processes and data products
- Experience with real-time systems and software
- Experience managing a small team of developers
- Experience with version control software and issue tracking (specifically git and GitLab)
