NTA, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer to support the research, development, and engineering efforts at Redstone Arsenal. The role involves project organization, vendor management, and overseeing various internal and external production processes. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing multiple projects, while assisting project engineers with production details and timelines. This position plays a key role in overseeing the production schedule, tracking build progress, assessing quality control processes, and implementing an inventory management system. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for reviewing and calculating production costs and ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with government regulations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- 2 + years of related experience in production management
Required:
- Experience with developing processes and procedures to improve efficiency
- Inventory Management & Quality Control experience
- Ability to calculate manufacturing labor and production costs
- Highly proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access)
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel (~10% or less)
Desired:
- Experience working with outside vendors to improve facilities and optimize processes
- Experience with analyzing workflow and assessing equipment placement for efficiency
- Experience with DoD Contracts
