NTA is seeking an experienced and talented Mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in FPGA programming, embedded software development and strong technical skills. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing FPGA-based systems, including both hardware architecture and implementation. This includes writing, testing, and optimizing HDL code (VHDL/Verilog) for FPGA functionality. In addition to FPGA design, this role will involve the development of embedded software to interface with FPGAs and other system components. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, ensure seamless integration, and troubleshoot any design issues. Additional responsibilities include conducting system simulations, performing signal integrity analysis, and validating designs through testing and debugging. Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality, reliable hardware solutions are essential.
Education and Experience:
A high level of computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills. Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities.
Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 6 or more years of experience
- Proficiency in FPGA programming
- Proficiency in board design/component layout
- Familiarity with embedded software development
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work parallel projects and deliver high-quality results
- Independent, self-motivated problem solver and strategic thinker
- Familiarity with version controls systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with MIL-STD-1553 interface
