Marketing and Ecommerce Designer for overstockArt.com (Wichita, KS)
overstockArt.com is looking for another person to add to our growing team of individuals. We are seeking an individual to assist in managing our website. This person will help with increasing sales on of our online gallery and other direct sales channels. The ideal individual would have a marketing and design background and would be motivated by growth.
This is an entry level, full-time position. The right person will have outstanding design skills, strong knowledge in Photoshop, solid knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets, and finally good writing and merchandising skills.
This is an exciting position with a young and growing company. The responsibilities include merchandising our website, creating new product pages, creating onsite promotions such as banners and art of the day. Also, creating banners for marketing activities and taking part in deciding promotions. Finally input into design and functionality improvements using data and critical thinking is also needed.
The compensation package includes salary and benefits.
Marketing & eCommerce Designer Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and optimizing the site on a daily basis. This includes creating product SKUs, editing products, creating categories and merchandising.
- Creating banners and splashes for on-site promotions
- Creative thinking to help build sales and advertising activities.
Marketing & eCommerce Designer Requirements:
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Excel is a must
- Good writing skills for short product and category descriptions as well as sales copy.
- Some knowledge of HTML a plus
- Experience in a previous marketing role a plus.
- Knowledge of posting on social media like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram
- Video editing knowledge a plus
- Ability to research, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work both remote and from our office.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Motivated, outgoing, and positive
