Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary period.

Greet guests in a friendly, professional and courteous manner. Answer and respond to questions and needs of casino patrons; provide directions as requested. Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations. 

  • Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
  • Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority. 
  • Develop, maintain and facilitate effective relationships, communication processes, and activities with all Gaming personnel and all other internal and external customers.
  • Use Players Club Membership information to monitor all guests play and inform customers of perks when using their card.
  • Provide information to guests on promotions as requested. Handle guests concerns when they arise. 
  • Answer complaints when appropriate. Forward all information through the proper chain of command adhering to Department Standard Operating Procedures. 
  • Keep abreast of current Oneida Casino special events calendar and community current events. 
  • Complete shift paperwork and forward reports as requested.

  • One (1) year of CMP database experience.

  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma, HSED Diploma or GED Certification. Applicants age (fifty (50) and older are exempt from this requirement.
  • Two (2) years of customer service experience; one (1) year of Casino work experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Frequently walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. 
  • Occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Work is generally performed in a casino setting with a higher noise level and where cigarette smoke is prevalent. Evening and/or weekend work is frequently required. There is frequent interaction with the employees and patrons. Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events.
  • Work environment is NOT smoke, noise, or dust free.
  • A Tuberculosis (TB) Screening and/or TB Skin Test are required within thirty (30) days of employment and annually thereafter as required.
