Assists in streamlining automated application process, pre-employment testing and recordkeeping of Human Resources Department.

Suggests, develops and amends processes to increase efficiency and improve documentation processes.

Assists candidates in the automated application process and administer pre-employment testing.

Assists with the telephone and face to face interview process.

Conducts pre-hire background checks.

Assists with job offers and scheduling pre-employment physicals.

Enters employee records into company database.

Maintains files of hired employee characteristics for company and regulatory purposes.

Mails employment offer letters and new hire paperwork to hired employees.

Assists with new employee orientation.

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.

Assists with maintaining employee attendance records.

Assists with employee acknowledgments.

Coordinates food and supplies for company events and training activities.

Coordinates printing and distribution of job routers.

Assists with recruiting, interview phone screens, and candidate assessments.  

Assists with training tracking and employee development initiatives on the shop floor.

Assists with office filing and administrative duties as needed.

Other duties may be assigned.

Two years coursework towards Bachelor's degree; one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer proficiency required, including Excel and Word.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to applicants and employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
