Qualifications for the position include:
 
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
  • Engineer In Training license preferred or desire to obtain

Practical work experience you will gain includes:

Civil Engineering:
  • Preparation of hydrology, hydraulic, and drainage calculations
  • Post-Construction Stormwater Management Best Management Practices calculations and design
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
    • Creating 3-D surfaces
    • Grading plans
    • Profiles/cross-sections
    • Pipe networks and corridors
  • Collaboratively working with Project Managers and Task Managers to deliver products to clients that are technically sound, on-schedule, and on-budget.

Environmental Engineering:
  • Perform investigation of soil, sediment, groundwater contamination
  • Interpret and analyze geologic, hydrogeologic and contaminant field and analytical data
  • Work with team to develop environmental strategies and remedial designs
  • Computer modeling of groundwater/contaminant migration and attenuation
  • Assist in design of water/wastewater and soil/groundwater treatment systems
  • Utilize AutoCAD and/or GIS for characterization and remedial plans
  • Conduct ecological and human risk evaluations
  • Help design sustainable in-situ bioremediation and chemical oxidation remedies
