As a member of Sea Shadows Inn Management LLC, the Human Resources Coordinator for Heritage House Resort & Spa will work directly with the team to support a world class guest experience by providing courteous, consistent, and efficient services for the staff. 


  • Onboard new employees: execute new hire paperwork and work with Accounting to ensure employees information is complete for entry into Payroll and Time Clocks 
  • Create and maintain active and inactive employee files (Personnel, Medical, and Workers Comp
  • files)
  • Maintain I-9, EEO-1 Self Identification Form, and required safety certificate binders
  • Make changes and update employee information (i.e., address changes, tax info, etc.)
  • Provide assistance with internal and external HR related inquiries
  • Form and maintain relationships/communication with all departments
  • Post available positions, assist with the recruitment process including but not limited to screening candidates, conducting reference checks, and participating in career fairs
  • Create and update job descriptions as necessary
  • Input birthdays and anniversaries into shared calendar for managers and supervisors 
  • Complete employment verifications
  • Complete and mail EDD requests for information
  • Attend the weekly managers meeting as necessary
  • Assist with wage analysis by participating in online surveys and local market review
  • Execute required reports for management group, in addition to federal and state agencies
  • Execute safety courses with managers
  • Maintain inventory of office materials and order if needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred for communication with staff


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 
  • 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and push, and reach with hands and arms, repetitive use of computer and phones
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
