To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and hands on Dual Ticketed Millwright/Electrician. Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, this role is responsible to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM, overtime may be required, including half day Saturday’s. The hourly rate for this position is $43.00 to $45.00 depending on experience.


Key Responsibilities
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, and micrometers
  • Assemble and install equipment using hand tools/power tools
  • Layout mounting holes using measuring instruments and drill holes with power drill
  • Replace defective parts on machinery/equipment or adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts
  • Dismantle machines/equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools
  • Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly using hand tools/power tools
  • Move machinery and equipment using hoists, overhead crane, dollies, rollers etc.
  • Assemble machines/equipment and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures using hand tools/power tools
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repair and lubricate machines and equipment
  • Weld, repair and fabricate equipment or machinery
  • Provide technical support, adjust settings, confirm proper operation and make recommendations for continuous improvements
  • Install and maintain mechanical and electrical systems and components.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues within the facility.
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows applicable codes, blueprints, and standards.
  • Complete required documentation of maintenance, repairs, and other service information.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot problems to maximize equipment uptime and minimize breakdowns.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts,
  • Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings,
  • Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors,
  • Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures,
  • Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment,
  • Splice, join and connect wire to form circuits,
  • Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety,
  • Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical generation sources and related equipment, and
  • Other duties as assigned

Core Competencies
  • Ability to diagnose hydraulic systems
  • Understanding of automated systems, HMI, PLC's
  • Knowledge of conveyors, metal sorting equipment, air compressors, air dryers, etc.
  • Mechanically inclined, with some welding experience
  • Industrial equipment knowledge with Industrial electrical experience up to 600v
  • Experience working on switch gears and MCC’s
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
  • Organizational and time management abilities, confident, resourceful and highly motivated
  • Results-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to plan jobs
  • Ability to actively listen and use creativity to solve problems
  • Ability to recognize the environmental factors and risks that enable and support safety in the workplace
  • Ability to maintain professionalism always and work with limited supervision
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to complete reports as required
  • Ability to multi-task and meet objectives/deliverables
  • High standards for work, meticulous, with great attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to stay on task past regular scheduled hours to ensure job completion

Education and Experience
  • Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic and Electrician Certification
  • Minimum of 10 years of Millwright and/or Electrician experience
  • Must be able to work inside and outside year-round in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work shift work when necessary
  • Ability to be on call after hours
  • Previous experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset
