The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools is committed to providing all of our students with the preparation that they need to matriculate to the 4-year college of their choice and be successful upon arrival. In order to support that vision, we are seeking a College Data Analyst to work with the Partnership’s Data & Impact team as well as the five Partnership high schools. The College Data Analyst supports the Partnership’s efforts to empower schools and students to make data driven decisions and establish systems for data collection.

The College Data Analyst will: 

  • support school counselors in collecting and systematizing student level data related to their college applications, acceptances, and plans

  • clean and maintain data dashboards

  • conduct literature reviews and make recommendations for best practices in college advising and promoting college completion for first generation college students

  • create data visualizations with college data

2) Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Intermediate level Excel experience

  • Beginning experience with R, STATA, or SQL

  • Ability to present in front of groups of staff confidently and effectively

  • Interest in using data to increase college completion

3) Minimum educational level:

  • Bachelors degree required.

4) Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working cleaning, analysis and reporting data

  • Experience working in a public school setting 



Employee will be paid according to the AmeriCorps subsistence rate for Los Angeles County: $925.12 biweekly. Education award upon successful completion of service, Choice of Education Award or End of Service Stipend, Training, Relocation Allowance, Health Coverage, Living Allowance.
