At American Patrols, patrolling pipeline and production assets is at the heart of what we do.  Our Production Patrol and Pipeline Patrol services help customers protect the environment, preserve revenue, minimize cleanup costs, and implement cost-efficient operating models in the field. 

We are growing rapidly, and are seeking to add a motivated, Sales Representative to the Team to enable us to continue this pace of growth.  We operate in a fast-paced environment where trust is key, and high-performance is expected and rewarded.

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:
  • Serves Customers by selling Production Patrol and Pipeline Patrol services.
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads.
  • Upon assignment, services existing accounts by addressing service gaps.
  • Comfortable calling on Customers from the American Patrols office or hitting the road and stepping into a Customer’s office.
  • Builds sales presentations, tailoring content to the unique characteristics of the Customer.
  • Analyzes existing and potential Customers by building electronic maps in Google Earth to identify service opportunities.
  • Serves as the internal Customer Advocate, always presenting and arguing for Customers’ best interests. 
  • Gains expertise in the operational and financial impacts of Customer requests, ensuring that American Patrols fulfils its promises to a high degree of Customer satisfaction.
  • Keeps management informed by logging activity in appropriate systems including CRM, and participating in cross-functional company meetings.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, competitor relationships, and contract renewal dates.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Completes other assigned tasks and duties as directed.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary + Uncapped Commission[TR1]

Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:
  • 2 years of Oil and Gas experience; at least 2 years of sales experience
  • Demonstrable history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Well-networked; relationships with target Oil and Gas Operators
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Prospecting skills
