In accordance with our growth plans in Asia, we are now establishing a new manufacturing footprint in Pluak Daeng, Rayong.  This growth has created the opportunity to build a pioneering team.

We are looking for a Technical Laboratory Manager to manage and execute daily operations and to ensure accurate and timely output of results, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will also work closely within our Technical center in Singapore and our global R&D team.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the laboratory team and drive SHE mindset
  • Responsible for daily quality inspections
  • Develop and optimize production methods
  • In cooperation with Purchasing, select and approve suppliers of new raw materials
  • Responsible for alternative material suggestion when needed
  • Responsible for Bill of Material controlling
  • Responsible for the equipment in the laboratory
  • Develop color masterbatch samples in cooperation with customers
  • Participate in meetings with customers and suppliers as needed
  • Support Sales through technical inquiries and new projects as needed
  • Set up and maintain ISO requirements and documented procedures to ensure all results are accurate and reliable for reporting purposes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or in a related scientific field
  • 7+ years of experience as a Laboratory Manager, Laboratory Supervisor or in R&D
  • Experience in plastics industry, color matching and injection molding is preferred
  • Quality-conscious
  • Able to provide creative suggestions for improvement
  • Self-starter and ability to take end-to-end ownership
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office; experience with Oracle will be preferred
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively, achieve commitments and deliver results
  • Good English written and verbal communication
  • Locate in Pluak Daeng area will be preferred
  • Willing to explore and learn new things
