Role Summary
Join our team as Food & Beverage Manager serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by managing all of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets. Ensuring the quality of product and level of service, resulting in a superb guest experience.

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Assist F&B management in the overall day-to-day operations. 

  • Consistently maintain service standards throughout all F&B departments by monitoring service performance of the FOH team.

  • Ensure completion of all service shift opening/closing duties.

  • Assist in holding daily pre-shift rallies, reviewing the special requests of guests and service standards

  • Provide support to service staff on floor during meal periods as needed

  • Regularly interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction with their stay at Primland.

  • Execute group and banquet functions.

  • Assist in writing the weekly FOH schedule.

  • Perform regular sales analysis of sales in the pub, elements breakfast, and IRD.

  • Maintain POS programming for food items and modifiers, beer items, spirits items.

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization in F/B FOH workspaces.

  • Ensure public areas are properly staged at all times and equipment including vehicles is regularly cleaned and maintained.

  • Ensure server appearance and grooming meets standards.

  • Be responsible for maintaining and periodically reviewing par levels of beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic bar products.

  • Take monthly counts of spirits and beer inventory.

  • Participate in event design and planning, including attendance at PreCon meetings.

  • Participate in regular training sessions on all FOH service matters, as well as training sessions on product knowledge, with a particular emphasis on spirits and beer.

  • Direct the interviewing of FOH employment candidates.

  • Devise and implement methods to attract attractive employment candidates.

  • Participate in on- and off-site recruiting events.

  • Direct the on-boarding of new employment hires, including scheduling of introductory orientation, delivery of training materials, communication of the training protocol, delivery of gate cards and name tags.

  • Oversee the assignment and tracking of FOH uniforms, placing orders when required.

  • Display and cultivate in others a mindset of safety-first for all team members and Primland guests.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of food and wine is a must as well as fine dining operations.

  • Experience in completing administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, project management, etc.

  • At least 2 years experience in Food & Beverage leadership.
