Role Summary
Join our team as a Director of Restaurants serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by managing all of the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets. Ensuring the quality of product and level of service, resulting in a superb guest experience.
 

Core Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are as follows:

  • Maintain a high standard of quality with regard to guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, safety and sanitation.

  • Passionate desire to connect with guests and live the Auberge and Primland brand.

  • Responsible for the delegation and completion of work as well as the evaluation of team members.

  • Contributing to the achievement of revenue goals while striving to increase guest count and total revenue. 

  • Maintaining quality of service.

  • Review staffing needs daily and weekly for efficient management of labor costs. 

  • Ensure proper execution of all accounting functions.  

  • Communicate effectively.

  • Maintain staff morale by empowering a positive and successful work environment.

  • Staff development through meetings, training, coaching and more.

  • Managing all aspects of the operation in accordance with the goals, objectives and culture of the company.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of food and wine is a must as well as fine dining operations.

  • Experience in completing administrative tasks, including reporting, budgeting, project management, etc.

  • At least 2 years experience in Food & Beverage leadership.
