Post Ranch Inn- Bartender (Big Sur, CA)

As a member of the Post Ranch Inn and Sierra Mar Restaurant, the Bartender will interact with guests, management, and staff to ensure a world class guest experience by providing personal, hospitable, and knowledgeable beverage service.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Must have a High School diploma, and college or secondary education preferred
Must have at least 2 years of bartending experience, ideally in a fine dining establishment
Proven track record of providing a unique guest experience
Continual interest in staying up to date with beverage, wine, and fine dining trends
Ability to establish effective partnerships with all departments
Either have, or be able to provide a CA Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire
Must be 21 years of age

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks

Pay for the Bartender position is $16.00 per hour plus tips
