Retail Manager (Big Sur, CA)

Post Ranch Inn, the world renowned hotel in Big Sur, is looking for qualified candidates to apply for our Retail Manager position.
JOB OBJECTIVE: As a member of the Post Ranch Inn management team, the Retail Manager will lead the retail operation and sales team to ensure a world class guest experience at both our on property boutiques and e-commerce site. Core responsibilities include the ability to maximize the sales productivity through effective selling techniques, client development and special events. This position will be required to work weekends and holidays as needed and spend a majority of their time executing in store and e-commerce sales along with developing proactive sales and inventory strategies. This position will also be involved in the Post Ranch Art Program to support curation, exhibits, and sales.

- Flexible work schedule; is able to adjust to the needs of the store
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- E-commerce and Website design experience preferred
- Must have a High School diploma, and college education preferred
- Must have at least 5 years of retail management, as well as marketing experience
- Prior supervisory and customer service experience
- Proven track record of sales development and initiatives
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time on the sales floor
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
