The Human Resources Director will ensure the planning and directing of people operations, such as recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, benefits, performance management, compliance, compensation, training, and staff housing management, to support a world class guest experience and a unique property.

ESSENTIAL‌ ‌WORK‌ ‌SKILLS:‌ 
  • Working knowledge and experience with general human resource disciplines such as, employment law (federal, state, local), workers compensation, recruiting, employee relations, benefit management, and training and development 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills with a diverse team from different socioeconomic backgrounds. Must have the ability to explain complex HR and legal topics to all types of leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach others, and to serve as a successful participant and partner with the members of the Post Ranch Inn Management Team
  • High level of computer proficiency including the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), payroll/HR and applicant tracking systems 
  • Must be able to operate with a high degree of confidentiality and communicate with a diverse group of external callers and guests, as well as internal staff. 
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail, a high level of organization, and the ability to multi-task, follow through and re-prioritize well to meet deadlines on multiple projects which may be running concurrently
  • Be naturally inclusive
  • Have the ability to navigate organizational and environmental changes mindfully and with little to no notice

MINIMUM‌ ‌EDUCATION‌ ‌&‌ ‌EXPERIENCE:‌ ‌ ‌

  • Five or more years of experience as a Human Resources professional (exempt level) with prior experience in hospitality highly desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar degree/certification in Human Resources or related field.
  • English required; Spanish speaking highly preferred

Pay range for the Human Resources Director position is $150 - $165k annually.
