Duties/Responsibilities:  The therapist will be responsible for providing a safe, secure, supervised 24-hour environment for stabilization of psychiatric crisis including both the stabilization of acute psychiatric symptoms and functioning.  The therapist will be responsible for all appropriate intake assessment information along with other pertinent documentation; clinical management including medications; medical problems; follow-up referrals; other linking with support services; individual/crisis counseling; recreational activities; skill building exercises; family meetings; as well as supervision of medication self-administration.  All other duties as outlined in job description.      
 
Skills/Knowledge:            Must possess a philosophy and a willingness to work with the severely mentally ill and those in acute crisis situations.
