Job Summary:           Victim Services Director is responsible for the overall development and operation of Rape Victim Services.  The Director will screen, supervise and evaluate victim staff and victim advocates.  The Director will conduct staff meetings, organize in-service training sessions, develop public relations in the community, and coordinate community educations/awareness programs and media presentations.  The Director will develop and maintain the network between various Mental Health and Addiction Services programs regarding trauma services for survivors of rape, sexual abuse/assault, and human trafficking.  The Director will work with the Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs, Inc., networking resources and referrals statewide.  The Director is responsible for statistical information as required, as well as attendance at the various state meetings pertaining to Victim Services.  All other duties outlined in current job description. 
Skills/Knowledge:     This position requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of services and evaluating treatment modalities.  The Victim Services Director will provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff in their geographic area, therefore, supervision skills are required.  Victim Services Director will have 40 hours of mandated training in the area of rape and sexual assault; will have a least three years of experience in the helping profession and treatment of human abuse; and will have experience to demonstrate satisfactory performance of the duties of this position.
