Duties/Responsibilities:  The Hillcrest Hall RN must maintain the Medication Administration Record of each consumer and complete accurate documentation of medication, as well as complete current records of assistance with medication administration.  Duties also include a physical assessment of each consumer admitted, attending and assisting with psychiatric sessions with the Prescriber as well as making sure to obtain consent for medications from the consumer’s legal guardian.  Duties also include reading staff and consumer TB skin test, scheduling and follow up with Primary Care Physician for each consumer.  The Hillcrest Hall RN will also be available for medical questions after hours.  All other duties outlined in current job description. 
 
Skills/Knowledge:  This position requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of client care.  An understanding and application of The Principles of Effective Treatment (NIDA NIH Publication No. 00-4180) are necessary to function in this role.
