Duties/Responsibilities:       This provider will remain competent of insurance and fee arrangements for CRRU admissions and will disseminate information to staff about financial arrangements.  Provider will coordinate closely with Billing and Utilization Review.  This position provides direct care to consumers in the Crisis Residential Recover Unit (CRRU).  The provider observes the consumer to ensure safe withdrawal, and therapeutic engagement of addiction meeting and client where they are in recovery; handle telephone contacts for CRRU referrals; ensure and check proper admit and discharge of consumers along with necessary paperwork; process chart work; facilitate groups and individual therapy.  The provider is responsible for the timely production of reports for client charts.  Provider will assist in helping establish vocation, knowledge of health and STD risks, and establish recreation for consumers including transport of clients at times.  Provider will consult with families and outside providers at client request.  All other duties as outlined in Job Description.        
Skills/Knowledge:                 This position requires organizational skills, as well as knowledge and skills in coordination of client care.  An understanding and application of The Principles of Effective Treatment (NIDA NIH Publication No. 00-4180) are necessary to function in this role.
