Duties/Responsibilities:       The Director of Primary Care provides leadership and guidance to prescribers and nursing staff in Primary Care programs at Pathways.  This position is responsible for the creation and management of Primary Care Clinics under the direction of Pathways Medical Director and the CEO.  The Director of Primary Care will recruit prescribers, nurses and medical assistants and train the medical staff across the agency on nursing/medical policies and procedures, and assures they are aware of any changes as they occur.  The Director of Primary Care makes sure the legal procedures, medical/nursing laws, and work standards are met.    
Skills/Knowledge:     Excellent communication skills.  At least 5 years of management experience.  Excellent knowledge of Medical and Nursing Practice in Primary Care a must and Behavioral Health setting preferred.
