Duties/Responsibilities:       The population served by this position includes children, adolescents, and/or their families.  The disability served will be a chronic mental health diagnosis addressed in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental disorders.  The Community Support Associate will support activities necessary to allow clients to live with a maximum independence in the community. 
Skills/Knowledge:     Community support associate will have one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder.  Shall successfully complete within six (6) months of hire the department approved training program.
