 Rubenstein is seeking an innovative, creative, and solutions-oriented Digital Strategist (ORM) to be a key player in our multi-disciplinary Digital team. This person will develop strategy and facilitate implementation of a wide range of digital media initiatives ranging from, but not limited to: online reputation management (ORM), online branding, community management, audience development, digital promotion, developing social media campaigns and building brand equity to meet client objectives.

Candidates will be expected to be quick learners with creative ideas and have the proven ability to work collaboratively. This role requires extensive inter-department communication and the ability to effectively communicate across teams. You will help to educate colleagues as well as clients on best practices, technical feasibility, and digital opportunities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 
  • Develop digital media and ORM strategies to meet client objectives and set measurable goals both individually and with support of larger team
  • Manage day to day client relationship and serve as client liaison on digital ORM projects
  • Build project plans and timelines while managing multiple clients and multiple messages
  • Build editorial calendars and content strategy for multiple platforms
  • Conduct SEO audits and provide recommendations for optimization (websites, social media profiles, etc.)
  • Perform branded SERP pulls for branded keywords
  • Identify and build relationships with prominent digital influencers and thought leaders
  • Day-to-day community management for clients
  • Set up baseline reports for online reputation management projects and track the progress 
  • Think independently to create new ideas and concepts that execute against strategic initiatives to support goals and objectives on-time and on budget
  • Work with internal teams to develop strategic digital recommendations that help accomplish client objectives and drive results
  • Consult and share best practices during the ideation and pitch phase, providing insight and strategy for digital media and custom content to clients and other stakeholders
  • Track hours across projects to manage time wisely and allow for the independent, accurate design and production of multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Ensure seamless integration with other agency partners and across project scope of work; liaise with outside vendors (build-outs)
  • Keep up with emerging ORM strategies and technology

  • Eagerness to learn and stay current in the digital space
  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools
  • Ability to effectively present work to colleagues and clients at all levels
  • Strong editorial judgement, with an eye for audience stewardship and lifting valuable messages to the surface of user awareness
  • Experience with presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote is a plus
  • The drive to see projects through to the end and deal with the adversities along the way
  • Self-confidence and composure to accept critique, process it, and apply the learning to improve
     

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
 
  • Bachelor’s degree required - preferred focus in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in a social media marketing / digital strategy role with a minimum of 3 years of experience in online reputation management
  • Prior experience in an agency setting (public relations or digital marketing) is preferred
