Bus Driver for Adults with Disabilities - Class C (Concord, CA)
Founded in 1965, VistAbility is a non-profit organization providing direct services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 13 locations throughout the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Position: Bus Driver for Adults with Disabilities
Location: Concord, CA
Hours: Part Time - Split Shift
Monday-Friday: 7:00am – 9:30am and 1:30pm – 3:30pm (22.5 hours / week)

AM ONLY: Monday-Friday: 6:30am – 9:00am (12.5 hours / week)
PM ONLY Monday-Friday: 2:30pm – 4:30pm (10 hours / week)
Compensation: $21/hr.
Benefits: 11 paid holidays + an additional Birthday holiday, Sick time, Vacation (Applies towards split shift employees)

1st and 2nd year of employment = 2 weeks vacation a year;
3rd and 4th year of employment = 3 weeks vacation a year;
5th to 9th year of employment = 4 weeks vacation a year;
the 10th year onward = 5 weeks vacation a year.
Part-time and split shift, Shuttle Bus Driver needed to work an afternoon shift in Concord. Transport adults with developmental disabilities from their homes to day program facility in the morning and return to program participants' homes in the afternoon.

Do you have experience with driving medical transport, ambulance or emergency vehicles, airport shuttles, limousines, transporting clients for appointments or outings?

Qualifications:
- Ability to read maps, be punctual, reliable and work various hours during the day.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact in a positive and supportive manner with riders.
- Experience with securing wheelchairs with tie downs.
- Ability to maintain supervision of riders to ensure safety while in transit.
- California Driver's license
- Good driving record
- At least one year of continuous, verifiable experience driving for work
