Provide care and emotional support for adults with disabilities – Full time and Part time positions open in Contra Costa County 

VistAbility's Access Program is looking for responsible, caring, dedicated individuals with experience with family members in health care, IHSS or as a direct support professional. Experience supporting people with restricted health conditions is highly desirable.

Our Community Access Specialists provide home and community-based day services for adults with multiple and severe developmental disabilities and significant health conditions. Known as the "fun and games committee", the Access program brings fun and enthusiasm to the participants' place of residence. 

Applicants should be willing to:
- drive an agency van
- provide extensive personal care assistance, such as feeding and changing
- interact in a positive, supportive manner with people who have multiple and severe disabilities

CNAs and DSPs are encouraged to apply.


Minumum Requirements:  
  • Valid CA driver license and good driving record required.
  • Must meet State Licensing requirements involving health screening and Dept. of Justice clearance including fingerprinting and background check.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination - medical/religious exemption requests will be considered 


Hours/Location: 
San Pablo 9-1pm (20 hours/week)
Richmond  9-4:30pm (37.5hrs/week)

Compensation: $17.00 per hour plus great benefits!

Our vacation accrual rates are generous: 1st and 2nd year of employment = 2 weeks vacation a year; 3rd and 4th year of employment = 3 weeks vacation a year; 5th to 9th year of employment = 4 weeks vacation a year; the 10th year onward = 5 weeks vacation a year.
