Founded in 1965, VistAbility is a non-profit organization providing direct services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 13 locations throughout the Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
Position: Shuttle Bus Driver
Location: Richmond, CA
Compensation: $20/hr. plus great BENEFITS!
Hours: Part Time - Split Shift (24.75 hours/week)
Monday: 7:15am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 7:15am – 12:15pm and 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:15am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Thursday: 7:15am – 12:15pm and 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:15am – 9:30am and 2:30pm – 4:30pm

1st and 2nd year of employment = 2 weeks vacation a year;
3rd and 4th year of employment = 3 weeks vacation a year;
5th to 9th year of employment = 4 weeks vacation a year;
the 10th year onward = 5 weeks vacation a year.

Do you have experience with driving medical transport, ambulance or emergency vehicles, airport shuttles, limousines, transporting clients for appointments or outings?

Qualifications:
- Ability to read maps, be punctual, reliable and to work various hours during the day.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact in a positive and supportive manner with riders.
- Experience with securing wheelchairs with tie downs.
- Ability to maintain supervision of riders to ensure safety while in transit.
- California Driver's License
- Good driving record
- One year of continuous, verifiable experience driving for work.

- Masking is required for all staff
