Join us at our iconic restaurant, Rocky Point, located south of Carmel. The Office Assistant reports to the CFO and handles a wide range of office tasks with accuracy and competence. The restaurant and working environment is fast paced with high energy and involves a variety of work assignments so that no two days are ever the same. You will be working in a successful restaurant in beautiful surroundings with the other restaurant staff who are a close knit team, and the environment is energizing and gorgeous. This is an excellent position for someone with outstanding office experience who loves the restaurant industry or hospitality industry; you will learn a lot and there are opportunities for the future.
This is a newly created position, providing day to day administrative and clerical support to the CFO and restaurant staff, doing data entry, managing calendars, running and analyzing reports, operating the reservation system, overseeing the IT system, answering phones and communicating issues to management in a proactive manner. Requires 1-2 years previous office experience, excellent communications skills, and previous experience in the restaurant, food or hospitality industry highly desired. Must be fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and previous experience with Micros point of sale (POS) software experience preferred, or ability to learn quickly. Full time, typically M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Medical benefits available.
