Residential Resources is seeking a dynamic REGISTERED NURSE with excellent organizational skills who is looking to use their training and experience in a unique way.  We are looking for someone who is willing to come to this field to help people and wants to make a difference in the lives of the individuals we support. This RN must either come with the State of NH Nurse Trainer designation or successfully complete the State of NH Nurse Trainer program (6 hours).

We are looking for a full time RN to work with our team based out of the Londonderry, NH office.  This office supports individuals affected by Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) as well as individuals with traumatic brain injuries.  We are looking for a Nurse Trainer to work with our three 2-3 person staffed residences as well as a caseload of Enhanced Family Care (EFC/Shared Living homes) in the southern NH area.  Your schedule is flexibly set by you, around the needs of the people we serve.

In the position of Nurse Trainer, you would be an integral member of an individual’s support team; assisting with the oversight of the persons health care coordination and medical needs.  You would also oversee medication administration (following the NH 1201 regulations) to all homes on your caseload including providing quality reviews and supervision of our direct support staff/contractors.  The Nurse Trainer also provides trainings including but not limited to: Medication Administration, Health and Safety and Bloodborne Pathogens.

Applicants must have:
  • Current RN license in the state of NH
    • Minimum of two years of RN experience
  • State of NH approved Nurse Trainer certification or successfully complete the State of NH Nurse Trainer program within two months of hire.
  • Must have at least 2 years of licensed nursing experience within the past 5 years, at least one of which was as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must have an acceptable criminal history, driving history and other background checks.
  • Flexible availability and on call ability to meet the needs of our homes/staff.
