We are currently looking for full time LEAD DSP to provide residential supports in our Salem, NH staffed residence.  We are looking for an experienced DSP who is ready to move into a leadership position.  This person should have experience working with individuals with ID/DD and/or traumatic brain injuries.  Medication Administration experience is preferred but not required.

We are looking for dedicated lead DSP to assist with staffing schedule, acting manager when the manager is out, provide assistance with medical appointments and medication administration oversight etc.  You should also be ready to have a good time and share plenty of laughs, watching golden girls, games shows, and engaging with the women in the home!

This home supports two wonderful women who are staffed 1:2,  24 hours per day. Both of these women are great to work with, friendly, and funny!  They would need varied levels of support related to ADL's, personal care, cooking, cleaning, and just helping them live full and meaningful lives.  One of the women utilizes a hoyer lift and motorized wheel chair to ambulate the other woman uses a walker.  They have a pet cat in the home who they love spending time with.  Due to personal care needs, the women have kindly requested that only female applicants be considered for this position (we encourage all applicants to look at our full list of openings).

The Lead DSP hours are:

  • Sunday-Thursday 7:30-3:30 pm (40 hours per week)
  • There is an option to work a double one of the days for scheduled OT

Rate of Pay:

$13.00 per hour with benefits.
 

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Applicants for scheduled positions must have at least 3 years experience as a licensed driver, and have an acceptable driving history.
  • An acceptable criminal history and other background checks are required.
