36 hour DSP position Mon-Thurs (NO WEEKENDS) (Westbrook, ME)

Residential Resources is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and motivated individuals to work in our staffed residence. We have 2 available positions in this program working with two lovely ladies. The DSP will be providing direct care, integrating folks into the community, attending doctors appointments, participating as a team member, etc. 
The schedules are listed below: 

Option #1: 
Monday: 2p-11p
Tuesday: 2p-11p
Wednesday: 2p-11p
Thursday: 2p-11p

Option #2: 

Thursday: 9a-8p
Friday: 9a-8p
Saturday: 9a-10p OR 8a-6p

Summary of Duties:

• Provide direct support care within the individuals in the homes including assistance with ADL's, household tasks, meal preparation and companionship.
• Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community & participate in recreational activities of their choice.
• Ensures that company policies are adhered to.
• Fosters the team building process at all levels.
• Participate in Service Planning for individuals and attend Person Centered Planning meetings.
• Monitor fiscal aspects of the program.
• Team leads are also members of the Emergency On Call team.

Requirements:

• CRMA/DSP certifications are preferred.
• Must be able to communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and perform basic accounting and budgeting.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have an acceptable driving history (been a driver for at least 3 years).
• Must have an acceptable background check.
