We have one full time and one part time position available at a program in Scarborough. The residents at this program require eyes on supervision and minimal assistance with ADL's. These gentlemen love to participate in their ADL’s, like to engage with learning how to cook, go bowling, hiking, go to the beach, watch sports, and they will just about try anything. If you are active, this is the program for you!! This program supports 4 individuals that love to get out of the house and try new things. A successful candidate must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, be confident providing routine and structure, and be encouraging of safe community outings and recreation. Position #1: NO WEEKENDS!
Mondays: 8a-10p
Tuesdays: 2p-9p
Thursdays: 2p-10p
Fridays: 9a-8p
 
Position #2: Weekend warrior!
Saturdays: 8a-10p
Sundays: 8a-8p

Duties:
  • Responsible for care and supervision of individuals as outlined in the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Provide in-home support including companionship, assistance with household tasks, meal preparation, personal care, and at-home activities.
  • Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community and participate in recreational activities such as running errands, going to the movies, out to eat, or visiting family and friends 
  • Comply with our company's COVID-19 guidelines and procedures 
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a licensed driver with an acceptable driving history
  • Must have acceptable background checks 
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field. We will train the right person.
