DSP needed for 24 hour BLOCK shift in Portland 8A Saturdays until 8A Sunday!! (Portland, ME)
Residential Resources Inc. is currently seeking a part- time Direct Support Professional for one of our Portland homes. This program will support one female in her day-to-day life. A successful candidate must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, transporting this person to community outings, and have a positive attitude. Experience is a plus, but not necessary as we will train the right person.
We are looking to hire a part -time staff to work on Saturdays. There are many ways we can do this. Please see options below:
Option 1:
Saturdays: 8A-8P
Option 2:
Saturdays as a block shift. Starting time 8A until 8A Sunday morning. This is a 24-hour shift.
Please note that we can cross train if you are looking for a full-time position at another location & can be trained to fill shifts in this program too to fill call outs, vacations, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for care and supervision of individuals as outlined in the Person-Centered Plan.
- Provide in-home support including companionship, assistance with household tasks, meal preparation, personal care, and at-home activities.
- Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community & participate in recreational activities such as running errands, going to the movies, out to eat, or visiting family and friends.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have at least three years’ experience as a licensed driver and have an acceptable driving history.
- Must have an acceptable criminal history and other background checks as required.
- Previous experience as a DSP is required.
- Preference is given to applicants that have trainings (CPR/FA, MANDT, CRMA, DSP) but are willing to train the right person.
