Residential Resources Inc. is currently seeking full time, part-time, and relief staff for several of our residential homes.  This opportunity gives you the chance to pick hours that will work for your weekly schedule and provide support for individuals who need it most. We have programs in Westbrook, Saco, Gorham, Scarborough, and Portland. 
This line of work is meaningful and fulfilling. As a DSP/CRMA you will support people in their day-to-day life. A successful candidate must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, transporting people to community outings, and have a positive attitude. Below, please find 3 different schedules that we are looking to fill as a full time DSP and 2 part time schedules we are looking to fill. 

Option 1: This full time (44 hour) position is located in Scarborough. We are looking for a DSP that is comfortable providing lots of hands on assistance with hygiene, daily routines, encouragement of getting out into the community, etc. The schedule is below: 
Tuesdays: 3p-9p 
Wednesdays: 8a-6p
Thursdays: 9a-9p 
Fridays: 3p-9p
Saturdays: 8a-6p 

Option 2: We are looking for a full time 34 hour DSP who would like to work weekends! This person would be working with 2 ladies in their homes providing assistance with hygiene, cooking, household tasks, transportation to appointments, community activities, etc. This person should be comfortable in providing personal care. The schedule is: 
Sundays: 9a-7p
Mondays: 8a-10p
Saturdays: 9a-7p 

Option 3: This is a part time (16 hour) position working with one female locally. These hours could be combined with another part time position in another program if you are looking for a full time position. This person should be comfortable transporting female to swim lessons, taking her grocery shopping, and to appointments & other community outings. The schedule is: 
Tuesdays: 830a-130p
Wednesdays: 830a-130p
Thursdays: 830-230p 

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for care and supervision of individuals as outlined in the Person-Centered Plan.
  • Provide in-home support including companionship, assistance with household tasks, meal preparation, personal care, and at-home activities.
  • Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community & participate in recreational activities such as running errands, going to the movies, out to eat, or visiting family and friends.

Job Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a licensed driver with an acceptable driving history
  • Must have acceptable background checks 
  • At least 1 year of experience in the field. We will train the right person.
