We are currently looking to add a new Program Manager to our Program Leadership Team based out of Westbrook, ME. In this role, the successful candidate will maintain oversight of a small cluster of residential programs consisting of 2-4 residents each, supporting positive and integrated Home and Community-Based Services for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities through leadership and development of a team of dedicated Direct Support Professionals.

Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with additional direct care hours and rotating on-call shifts required as necessary for staffing support purposes

Additional responsibilities include:
- Program oversight, organization, and scheduling
- Team leadership, supervision, and development
- Maintaining regulatory compliance (including licensing requirements, advocacy, training certifications, person-centered planning, health and safety protocols, and more)
- Cross-functional partnership and collaboration
- Fostering an inclusive and engaging organizational culture
- Performing other related duties, as needed

The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge:
- Associate's Degree in a related field or two (2) years of experience in a supervisory or management position (formal or informal)
- 3+ years of experience as a licensed driver and with an acceptable driving history
- An acceptable criminal history and other background checks as required
- Previous experience as a DSP is preferred but not required

And abilities:
- Demonstrate experience implementing positive leadership practices 
- Demonstrate competency with navigating challenging situations in a professional manner
- Communicate fluently both verbally and in writing
- Prioritize issues requiring immediate attention
- Pass competency tests as assigned, e.g., medication licensing/certification, first aid, CPR
- Understand and convey the company's philosophy, values, and mission to employees and other agencies
