Residential Resources is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and motivated individuals to work as team leaders in our staffed residences. We have 2 available positions in two different locations (greater Westbrook area). As the Team Leader of the home, you will be responsible for providing direct care as well as leadership for the small team that works in this program. While each home and individual have their own unique needs, these homes are very quiet and perfect for applicants interested in entry level management. Below is a little more information on each location:

Location #1: located in Scarborough
This home supports 4 young males on the go. These folks love to get out into the community hiking, playing sports, bowling, shopping, exploring, etc. The Leader should be comfortable providing some assistance and personal care with ADLs from time to time. This person will also be the go-to for grocery shopping, menu planning, and other operations of a house. The schedule for this position is:


Mondays: 9a-7p
Fridays: 9a-7p
Saturdays: 9a-7p
Sundays: 9a-7p

Location #2: located in Westbrook.
This home supports two gentleman.  They love to get out into the community, specifically going out to eat, shopping and just being on the go.  The Team leader should be comfortable providing some assistance with personal care & ADL's. The schedule for this program is:


Mondays: 8a-6p
Tuesdays: 8a-6p
Fridays: 11a-7p
Saturdays: 9a-5p


Summary of Duties:
  • Provide direct support care within the individuals in the homes including assistance with ADL's, household tasks, meal preparation and companionship.
  • Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community & participate in recreational activities of their choice.
  • Ensures that company policies are adhered to.
  • Fosters the team building process at all levels.
  • Participate in Service Planning for individuals and attend Person Centered Planning meetings.
  • Monitor fiscal aspects of the program.
  • Team leads are also members of the Emergency On Call team.

Requirements:
  • CRMA/DSP certifications are preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and perform basic accounting and budgeting.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must have an acceptable driving history (been a driver for at least 3 years).
  • Must have an acceptable background check.
