Residential Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse with excellent organizational skills who is looking to use their training and experience to support individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.  Our company offers a flexible, friendly environment that provides the opportunity to create relationships with the people that you are supporting.

This part-time (approx. 20 hours/week) position will join our current team of nurses so we welcome candidates who are new to the Nurse Trainer role! This RN role requires the State of NH Nurse Trainer designation or successful completion of the State of NH Nurse Trainer program (6 hours) within 2 months of hire. 

Working out of the Keene, NH office, the Nurse Trainer will work with six 1-2 person staffed residences as well as a small caseload of Enhanced Family Care (EFC/Shared Living homes) in the Keene area.  You create your own schedule, around the needs of the people we serve.  As part of the support team, you will:
 
•    Assist with the oversight of health care coordination and medical needs 
•    Oversee medication administration (following the NH 1201 regulations) 
•    Provide quality reviews and supervision of our direct support staff/contractors
•    Provide training to staff including but not limited to Medication Administration, Health & Safety, and Bloodborne Pathogens
•    Understand and support the need for regulatory compliance
•    Work autonomously within the team environment
•    Delegate tasks as appropriate

Requirements:
 
•    Current NH RN license with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience within the last 5 years.
•    NH approved Nurse Trainer certification OR successful completion of the NH Nurse Trainer program within 2 months of hire.
•    Acceptable criminal history, driving history, and other background checks.
•    Flexible and on-call availability
