If you have your Direct Support Professional Certification & CRMA certification, we are looking for you!!  The Lead DSP works in the house providing Direct Care and has a few additional responsibilities that will assist the Program Manager.    

Summary of Standard Duties:
  • Responsible for care and supervision of individuals as outlined in the Person Centered Plan.
  • Provide in home support including companionship, assistance with household tasks, meal preparation, personal care and at home activities.
  • Provide opportunities for individuals to be part of the community & participate in recreational activities such as running errands, going to the movies, out to eat or visiting family and friends.
Summary of Lead DSP Duties:
  • Responsible for carrying a company debit card and purchasing groceries & supplies within the program budget.
  • Ensuring adequate supply of individuals medications.
  • Collecting monthly documentation and submitting to Program Manager.
  • Scheduling medical appointments for the individuals.  
  • Provide on-call coverage and carry the Emergency Pager phone for one week at a time, approximately two times per year.
  • Other duties as assigned by Program Manager.
